They are trusted partnerships with growers who we have worked with for years. We take grapes sourced from a range of vineyards, to enable us to build layers into the wine aiming for complex and complete wines. Nick crafts harmonious balance, drawing on each of the sites unique characters.
Light-bodied with a clean, refreshing finish. The wine's structure is well-balanced, with the crisp acidity harmonizing beautifully with the fruit-forward profile. The careful blending of Bonvedro from the unique Light Pass plot and Cinsault from the Stonewell sub-region results in a wine that is both vibrant and elegant.

- Grape variety breakdown
The grapes were gently destemmed and crushed, followed by a short maceration period to extract the desired amount of colour and flavour from the skins. Fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures to retain the bright fruit characteristics and crisp acidity. A combination of selected yeast strains was used to enhance the aromatic profile and complexity of the wine. After fermentation, the Cinsault and Bonvedro wines were blended to create a harmonious and balanced Rosé, combining the strengths of both varietals.

- Background
The founders of Krondorf village farmed small plots, where vines grew among produce, orchards and livestock. In the 1890s, the Glenview winery was founded, which overlooked these little farms. This winery became the engine room of Krondorf wines. Honouring this history, this range of wines is a result of long-term partnerships with exceptional and often multi-generational Barossa growers.
- Bouquet
The nose is inviting and vibrant, with pronounced aromas of fresh cranberries and strawberries. Subtle floral notes and a hint of citrus add complexity and allure.
- Vineyard Notes
Bonvedro from a small, unique plot in Light Pass and the Cinsault is sourced from the Stonewell sub-region. Both picked early to capture the freshness. Harvested and fermented seperately then brought together as a blend to produce a vibrant, balanced wine.
The growing season for vintage 2021 started dry and continued that way, with the lowest rainfall on record for the Barossa Valley weather station. There was also a combination of weather extremes from frost and cold nights through to hot weather during flowering season, which lead to a combination of smaller bunches and smaller berries during fruit development. A much needed temperature reprieve occurred during harvesting, enabling many vineyards to slowly ripen their grapes, allowing consistent and quality flavour development. Overall, a smaller vintage, with the total Barossa producing a limited fruit yield. However, despite what it lacked in volume, the overall grape quality was exceptional, with standouts in colour and flavour, particularly for Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache.
